Word of the Day

Everyday this week the class have been given a 'Word of the Day'. A difficult word is picked from the dictionary and the class have got to guess what it means. Once we have worked out the true meaning of the word the pupils are given the challenge to use the word in conversation throughout the day.

Today's word is 'sturdy'.

You certainly did Ben. The word for yesterday was 'subaqueous' (picked at random from the dictionary) and you used it correctly in a sentence at the end of the day. Smart lad!
